The Bachelorette: DeAnna Meets the Parents

Tonight on The Bachelorette, DeAnna made her home visits. She got to meet Ty, Jason's son, and Jeremy's siblings. Jesse and Graham were in their elements and got to show DeAnna a different side of themselves. She had feelings for all four guys, how could she decide who to cut?

The home visits were great. She started off in Colorado with Jesse. It was so much fun to see him snowboarding and really letting loose. He taught her to snowboard, and took her to his home. I really liked it, it was so him. It was funny to see his kitchen, though. He has all of his cabinets labeled. She met his parents and they all seemed to get on. Jesse's dad is awesome. DeAnna finally got her kiss from Jesse on a horse and carriage ride after Jesse was counseled by his dad to take risks.

In Dallas, DeAnna was picked up by Jeremy on his motorcycle. She thought he was sexy. He, too, has a nice home. Since she couldn't meet his parents because of their untimely deaths, he introduced her to them by photos. He kept a journal while he sat at his mom's bedside as she lay dying and he shared some of his thoughts with DeAnna. She was in tears, and so was I. I think this may be the first time that I liked him. She did get to meet his brothers and his sister-in-law who are very important to him. The brothers were very protective of Jeremy and made sure that DeAnna knew of their worries. She understood and in the end, they all enjoyed each others company.

Then it was off to Seattle and Jason. He met her at the Space Needle. I was surprised that she had no clue what it was. She was very nervous about meeting Ty, and Jason reassured her. Jason and Ty had the Best.Reunion.Ever. I was in tears, yes again, watching them run to and embrace each other. The absolute joy in both their faces was so beautiful to see. He introduced DeAnna to Ty and Ty was so cute. I wonder if Jason would mind waiting a couple of years for my daughter ... Anyway, DeAnna also met Jason's parents, his two brothers and his sister-in-law. Jason's mom went out of her way and cooked Greek food for her. They are so sweet! We learned, however, that Jason was hurt badly by his ex-wife and his mom told him that he needed to lower his armor with DeAnna, and take the risk if he thought she was worth it. I cried again when Jason had to take his leave from Ty.

Raleigh, NC, is where DeAnna met up with Graham. She jumped out of that limousine to run to him when she saw him. He met her at his old high school and they shot some baskets. He was so much more relaxed, open and affectionate with her. She ate it up. This girl is giddy around him. There was something between these two that wasn't there with any of the other guys. She met his parents, but this visit wasn't warm and fuzzy like the others. They were very nice, but something was missing. When they were alone, Graham wouldn't really open up to her. It seemed, to me, that she was more into him than him into her. She was really upset that he wasn't as open with her and they left each other at an awkward point.

The Rose Ceremony was very emotional. She has feelings for all four of the guys, but only three roses. She gives Jeremy, Jesse and finally, Jason roses. I was shocked that she didn't give Graham one. She told him that she felt like he was leading her on, like Brad did. I knew she couldn't go a whole episode without bringing him up. She told him that she was saying goodbye to the one person that she was falling in love with. He left her with a note. He told her it was for her, not for the show, and to please read it. After he left, she was sitting outside on the bench in tears and she read the note. She comments that she was second guessing her decision.
