DeAnna Tells All, Then Cuts Two on The Bachelorette

The first hour of this episode of The Bachelorette was, to me, purely filler. Chris Harrison talked to DeAnna about her choices and how she's seen things. Fluff. I wanted him to ask her if she thought that she'd pulled a Brad last week with Rob and Fred. She led Fred into thinking he was staying and then sent him home. But, he soft sold it and babied her some more. Nothing new presented except that she said everyone thinks that Jeremy is the front runner. We got to hear again how she's trying not to lead any of the guys on, like she was led on. Oh yeah, and we got to see Trista and Ryan again, too.

Anyway, the second hour, DeAnna took all six of the guys to a Palm Springs resort. She also had two solo dates and a group date. The first solo date was with Sean. They took a lift to the top of a mountain and had a romantic dinner. She invited him back to her suite for desert and said in her confessional that if she had a rose to give out for this date then Sean would get one.

The group date was with Jason, Jesse, Graham and Twilley. Why is Twilley still there again? Anyway they took a helicopter ride and Twilley was getting motion sick. DeAnna was afraid he'd throw up on her, so was I. Then he couldn't open the door for them to get out. After that, they went 4-wheeling. As I expected, Jesse was in his element. He was showing off by popping wheelies, etc, and he fell off. Quite funny. Twilley was off in his own little world and got left behind. They then had a little pool party where she got to talk to all the guys alone.

While she was talking to Jesse, she kept trying to silently communicate that she wanted him to kiss her. You know what I mean, leaning into him, pursing her lips a bit, the whole enchilada. He didn't get it. And she was very disappointed. She reconnected with Graham. There is something between them. She's like a little girl with a crush around him. She had a serious talk with Jason because she was concerned about bringing Ty, his son, into this. He was very excited about introducing her to Ty and to his parents. Twilley got his alone time in the helicopter, when he almost puked on her. I think he's in trouble this week.

The last solo date was with Jeremy. I was surprised that this was his first one-on-one with her. They really do have a connection. They went on a way back date. She drove him in a vintage convertible to Frank Sinatra's old house. They sang and danced to old Sinatra tunes. It was really very romantic.

Back in Los Angeles, the guys found out that there would be no cocktail party because DeAnna had already made her decision. Once again we heard how she didn't want to lead anyone on, like she was led on, so she didn't want to have a cocktail party and let the two guys she's decided to send home think they're staying. Yeah, whatever. Anyway, to my surprise, Sean was sent home. I guess the first date wasn't a good spot to be in. And finally Twilley was sent home. Honestly, he seems like a nice guy, but I had him pegged to go home every week.

Next week on The Bachelorette, DeAnna meets the families and it looks like she has another meltdown. Sigh. What do y'all think of this edition of the Bachelorette? Did she make the right decisions this week? Comment below.
